D.I.Y. Repairing"plugged in not charging" problem in dell inspiron 1525

but b4 doing this you may like o perform the following checks
1-try another power charger.it might solve your problem
2-try your BIOS with the latest version available.
if you get no results from the above mentioned things you may proceed to this step

I've just managed to fix my "plugged in not charging" problem with Inspiron 1525. All you need to do is to replace power board (Part number 48.4W006.021) - looks like the above.
its located on the left side bottom corner of your laptop.
all you need is t open the back cover
detach the power unit and install a new one
